(TOLEDO, Ohio - June 28, 2013) - Wisconsin-based home improvement retailer Menards is expanding its motorsports involvement to include the ARCA Midwest Tour through a unique business-to-business agreement with King Juice Co. of Milwaukee, WI.
Calypso Lemonade has become the Official Lemonade of the ARCA Midwest Tour. In addition, Calypso and Menards will serve as co-primary sponsors for the ARCA Midwest Tour Late Model to be driven by NASCAR veteran Johnny Sauter in the July 9 Howie Lettow Memorial 150 at the Milwaukee Mile Speedway.
"Sponsoring the ARCA Midwest Tour is a great opportunity for us to reach our customers with our unique flavors of Calypso Lemonades," said Laura Roszak of King Juice Company. "We are race fans ... Our owner, Tim Kezman, used to race in the old ASA series. We know how hot it can get while watching the races and our Calypso line of products offers a refreshment choice for all ages."
Menards, which serves as the Presenting Sponsor of the nationally touring ARCA Racing Series, will offer discounted general admission tickets for the ARCA Midwest Tour "Howie Lettow Memorial" race, if purchased before July 8, at 15 Milwaukee-area stores. The Howie Lettow Memorial 150 is a super late model special event, which will see drivers who race regularly in the ARCA Midwest Tour compete against drivers from all over the county, including NASCAR stars Matt Kenseth, David Ragan and others.
Calypso products can be found at Menards for a limited time, in a variety of flavors.
