My uncles Carl and Tom Marchese were the race promoters for the Mile for nearly 40 years. Would be so sad to see this part of history come to an end.

Saw Mario win, saw Mario hit the wall in turn one and got AJ Foyts autograph in the pits; that is the Milwaukee Mile. The track rocks!!!

The Mile has more history, more heritage, and more of a legacy than even Indianapolis itself. IndyCar, you would be making a huge mistake to abandon this this track. Please make racing at Milwaukee a reality again, or you will be losing some of your most dedicated fans.

Who in their right mind other than a non-racing fan would let go of an heirloom such as the Milwaukee Mile. Management, ownership, Milwaukee and the great state of Wisconsin need to put a focus on not just saving but enhancing the Milwaukee Mile!

I went for the first time to Indyfest 2015 and it was an incredible experience. We need to do what we can to keep the Milwaukee Mile up and running.

The recently published, in time for IndyFest 2015, The Milwaukee Mile was written to tell the Track's long and historic story. I wanted people to understand why those who are passionate about it - want the track saved. From the days of Harness racing up through today, it's jam packed with drivers, track changes, everything that contributed to the great memories so many generations have tucked away. To "Save the Mile" is more than a slogan, it's a feeling, an emotion - we can't let it slip away.

We need the Indy car race in Milwaukee, my son went to his first race this year. I'm hoping it is not his last IndyCar race at the mile.

I have been a past season ticket holder at the mile and I could not agree more then with David Hobbs comment during the race yesterday that the powers are willing to spend $250 million to keep the BUCKS here but do nothing to save the historic Milwaukee Mile - hmmmm politics????

I grew up just blocks from the track and have gone every year since I was young. A lot of people love the track but it needs a more reasonable, consistent date as well as more modern amenities to help attract the younger crowds.

It would be very out of order for the Milwaukee Mile to have to bite the dust. A track with endless history, it's not just another oval. It's the oldest auto racing track in the United States of America, and a unique one as well. The closing of this venue would remove a significant part of American history, and that is certainly not something that needs to be done. If the decision is made to close the race track, I can guarantee that the people in charge of the decision will regret doing so in the future.
