In each of the last 54 summers of my 55 year life, I have attended an IndyCar race at State Fair Park AND attended the Wisconsin State Fair with my family. One summer, 2010, I didn't do either. This summer I'm not doing either. I will continue this pattern for the rest of my life.

This track has too much history to let it vanish.I've attended many races here. Hope something can be done.

The Milwaukee Mile is a national treasure and deserves to be registered as a National Historical Landmark. This historical place needs to continue as an operating track.

Save the Mile! It's the oldest racing venue on the planet and it has such a storied history. It deserves another chance.

The Wisconsin State Fair Board is making a Big Mistake by trying to get rid of The Milwaukee Mile. Those Bleachers that they are selling off were just put in within the Last 10 to 15 Years. It cost The Milwaukee County Tax Payers a lot of money to put them in along with the lighting & other utilities. Apparently The Wisconsin State Fair Park Board don't care about wasting The Tax Payer's Money. In Fact it seems clear that The Board only cares about Money as it is. I have been going to The Wisconsin State Fair & The Milwaukee Mile for many Years Now. I always enjoy going too. It means a lot to the People who grew up with Racing at The Milwaukee Mile. Instead of getting rid of The Milwaukee Mile... how about Firing The Entire Wisconsin State Fair Park Board. That will solve a lot more problems because it is also clear that The Board has No interest in bringing NASCAR or other serious racing back to The Milwaukee Mile... if they did, we would have the Racing back here. I will say one thing... if they get rid of The Milwaukee Mile, I will Boycott The Wisconsin State Fair & all Events that are held at The Wisconsin State Fair Park Grounds. I encourage other people to do the same. Then they will see how much money that they are really losing. Believe me The Wisconsin State Fair Park makes Millions & Millions of Dollars every Years from The Fair alone, not counting other events held there. Every year they advertise it on the News at the close of The Fair. They could take some of this money to help out with The Milwaukee Mile if there are having Financial Issues which I don't believe that there are. I think that The Board is just Greedy for Money as usual & they want to make a quick buck by getting rid of The Milwaukee Mile. As a Life Long Resident of Wisconsin Born & Raised, this is what makes Wisconsin a Bad State too. It clearly shows just how the State Officials & People like this are Greedy & Corrupt. If The Board really wants to bring NASCAR & other serious Racing back to The Milwaukee Mile, then they need to get off their butts & get NASCAR & other Promoters involved. Save The Milwaukee Mile.

History isn't the only reason to hold onto the 'mile.
Given decent promotion, the events the mile draws are surely a boost to the local economy for tourism.
CIties worldwide would give large wads of money to have a facility like this to hand.

Please save the track. There needs to be a track like this for folks who enjoy racing but can't afford the cost if NASCAR. Very few tracks this size. Great memories have been made with my family there and I would like this track to remain to make other incredible memories. Save history and save a quality family sport. We need the Milwaukee Mile!

Me and my family had attended every Nascar Busch race from the early 90's up to the date when they cancelled them. My father and uncle have been going since the 70s. Every year we made reasons to go to the track. It's not only a piece of Wisconsin history, its in the history of Nascar and indy. Do not shut down this fine establishment.

We cannot lose any more race tracks in Wisconsinin. Lake Geneva closed in 2006. The track was destroyed remains undeveloped. Columbus is closed also. The Milwaukee Mile should be saved. Madison international is doing well after poor attendance for years. New leadership and creative marketing is needed. How can Walker save the Bucks and let an Historic track fade away
Bring back the ARCA Midwest and super late models. It's too bad that Xfinity and Indy car left.

The milwaukee mile is a great, low cost, and open venue for race fans who are unable to afford or make it to bigger races

The Mile needs to be preserved! The city/state needs to lure back NASCAR & INDY and market it well.

Please save the Milwaukee Mile. I still remember my 1st race in 1978 watching Rick Mears get his 1st win. Since then I had been to numerous IndyCar races, Busch races and ASA races. Would love to do it all over again and make more great memories.
