I have the most prudent plan and strategy to save and grow the MKE Mile and would like to meet with Kathleen O'Leary to discuss and implement plan.

The slide started when they would not let you drive to the infield, therefore no tailgating. I long for the 70's and 80's. Watch some youtube videos of those races, the infield was full to capacity.

It hurts so bad that I cannot do more than sign a petition to try to save this place. I really hope there can be a turnaround

Don't let the mile die,I didn't miss a race in the 60s.
My daughter saw her 1st Indy race her at the mile.
Went to most of the races through the years.
It was Milwaukee after Indy
Please don't let this historic track die.

We would drive up to the Mile every year for Indyfest. Lets get some great promoters like they had at Road America and bring it back again!

The Milwaukee mile is a part of racing history and to lose it would be a shame if they are selling it off bit by bit just because it doesn't fit into their profit margins or what they define as profitable then mabye they are the problem and not the track itself in today's world all aspects of auto racing have become more competitive what they need to do is hire someone who knows how to promote auto racing and the tracks they race at its no longer good enough to have the fairgrounds do the promotion you have to have a professional at auto racing promotion and marketing in order to be competitive
And to the people that live nearby the track that whine and complain about the noise why the heck did you move in next door to an AUTO RACETRACK in the first place??? That's like moving in next door to an international airport and complaining about the jet airline passenger planes flying overhead at all hours of the day and night waking you up.....duh really?

The mile is a historic landmark. To those folks complaining about noise: Races were held every summer at least 50 years before you moved in. If you didn't benefit from lower real estate prices then complain to your agent, not us.

Save it , once it is gone there is no going back.

Protect the mile as a state park or something like that.

Also, protect the mile as a Federally protected U.S. Historic site.

The track is part of are history. To loose it would be a tremendous blow to the racing world. To think of the thousands of people that have attended races and the hundreds that have raced there. It needs to continue on.

Let's save it....and get racing rolling again!!

Get rid of it! The noise is annoying , stressful and unhealthy to the people that live in the neighborhood. The stress it causes the citizens of West Allis that live near to the track is unfair! Every weekend now there's screeching tires, engine noise for hours!! It's going on as i write this on a Thursday afternoon at 4:30pm. The tire testing is unpredictable, it can go on past 5pm, any day of the week.The events are rarely attended, and its in debt and is not worth keeping. In order for it to be profitable it would require more tire testing and races and we already have had enough of this God forsaken noise! It is awful! Why should the few race car fans have more importance than the people that live here, day ??Please, get rid of it!!

Love racing at the Mile. It would be a huge loss.

I have seeing 25 years of racing at The Mile, I would love for my kids to be able to do the same. Please save this important part of Milwaukee and auto racing history. Thank you.
