Its a beautiful track, great atnosphere, a great asset to America.

I am still hoping my sons will have a chance to experience racing at the mile.

I grew up with this track. My father took me to countless races here. This was always the place to be the weekend after Indy when I was growing up. Indy, ASA, USAC, NASCAR cars and trucks... This track has hosted them all and a variety of local races. Attended all the Alan Kulwicki fundraisers there and had the pleasure of meeting his father and holding Alans Championship ring! So much history - let's keep it going!

We need premiere racing to continue to come to WI.

I've made many good memories going to Nationwide and Truck races at the Mile. I'd like to create many more good memories! Save the Mile!

glad to see i'm not the only one who wants to see the Mile remain what it is and bring racing back to Milwaukee!!

I was excited when I moved to Milwaukee and found out it has a great piece of living racing history, and is only blocks away. It is exciting to say the least and also harkens back through the different eras of racing.

I started going to the Milwaukee Mile when it was the State Fair Track. I used to go on Thursday evening to watch the stock cars on a small track in front of the grandstans. And I beleive it was in the late 40s when stock cars ran and Kaiser Fraseer was the choice. But a local friend of ours entered a new Caddy. And his friend drove it in front all day with an unlit cigar in his mouth!!! He won the race BUT the next Day that stated the a local driver from Racine won it!!!
They did not want a driver who drove racing cars and midgets in the 20s to get the win!!! The last time I went I forgot to wear ear plugs and I was deaf for awhile. I still love racing and my favorite stock card drive is Matt Kenseth and second favorite is That bad boy Kryle Busch.

My father-in-law worked there for 30 years. We can't let this die because no one really tried to run it correctly.

Save the Mile! A great track for a great city. Will be there in June for the IRL race - with Pit Passes to boot.

Save the Milwaukee Mile! The oldest race track still operating. Many memories, even won a race there.

Ive grown up at this track and tracks near and far. Tracksare closing all over dont let it happen to this one!! BUILD A DIRT TRACK ON THE INFIELD AGAIN!!

I grew up in Milwaukee and saw my first Indy races at the Mile. What a great venue! It would be a shame to shut her down.

I grew up at this track and am disturbed that it is underutilized, all the while we continue to pay for Miller Park which was supposed to be paid off years ago! Wisconsin only jumps to the rescue when it's baseball? Transfer that overstayed cash-cow tax to the Mile and we'll be back under green!

Please save the historic Milwaukee Mile track and the traditional Indy Car venue.

The History is endless there. From Rex Mays heroic efforts to Jim Hurtubise worse crash. Jim Clark, some say the best racing driver ever, racing there. Roger Ward, A. J. Foyt, Mario, Dan Gurney who of any significance has not raced there? Even today's best drivers love the mile. With the whole world trying to recreate the past, we have it.

Saw my first car race there, it was a Rex Mays Classic, been watching racing ever since. the West Asslis track is a part of history and should be saved and restored for car racing and car fans everywhere.

There is too much history at this track to let it go under.

Why do you want to get rid of a great piece of history? Is someone getting $$$ to put in their pocket? That track has a long and great history, besides all the enjoyment it brings with it, not to mention the dollars it generates.

This track is a part of racing heritage. Any racer you ask loves coming here because of the challenge and fans. And they all agree, the only thing the track suffers from is poor marketing and management. Fix that issue and it would be a gem.

Please dont let this track die.

Having been raised near the Nazareth Speedway in Pennsylvania,I had an early interest in racing. Coming to Wisconsin in 1960, I found that the Milwaukee Mile created the same level of driver interest and spectator enthusiasm as Nazareth. Let's keep this track moving forward.
