I love this place. I've been going to races since I was 3, in 1966. Saw all the greats of USAC. It was great to see the Indy 500 stars a week later here in Milwaukee while I was growing up. Every time I drive by on Greenfield Ave, I think of all the memories of me and my dad in the top corner of Section AA.

This track is a piece of auto racing history. It must be preserved for old and new racers alike.

Too much history and love of the place and racing to let it just die away, it deserves more.

Would love to see another race at the mile

The racing at Milwaukee Mile has been attended by at least 4 generations of my family. I am proud to have been able to compete at the mile and It has been a high point of my racing life. Rich in history, racing by the best drivers in the world, and under appreciated by the host community. I don't understand. I'd like nothing better than for the State fair to host racing all week long like back in the USAC days. Please make public any and all conversations for and against the continuation of racing at the mile so we can put this situation right!

I am from Michigan and have always heard of great stories of the Milwaukee mile. I would love to attend a race here wether it be a local short track night or a Indy car race. Save the Milwaukee mile!

I missed my chance in my childhood to attend CHAMP or INDY car races.. I have been going to Indy 500 and the Indy Race at Road America since 2017... would love to attend one more Indy Race a year, and why not right in my own back yard!!! Bring Indy Back!

You need to get state and local funding and a great backer and get nascar and indy car back ln here. but also there is a lot repairs and updates that need to be done . you need to expand the track by buying up the land from 76 and 77th from greenfield to walker and build paddocks for the race teams to work on their cars .then maybe it could be an every year event and give the oldest race track in the world its respect it should have.

Growing up in Wauwatosa, my dad and I used to attend races all the time. I have seen state fair go through many transitions, physically and financially and in the end it has alway survived. This park and its track are at a vary critical stage of their existence. There are many that flat-out don't care what happens and would prefer the idea of redevelopment. We all have seen how well that goes....look a half mile east, that went well didn't it?!! The State of Wisconsin is truly blessed with a tremendous sense of racing heritage. At one time there were more drivers coming out of Wisconsin than any other state. This track needs to gather state wide and even national attention in support of its future. There needs to be a political agenda pushed through to Madison to secure funding from both the public and private sector. However, with that said, it can't go the same route taken by the last ownership that bled it dry. As a fan of the Milwaukee Mile what can we do? Write local and state representatives and demand action to keep the "Mile" open.
