The Milwaukee Mile is legendary around the world. People from Europe, South America and Asia don't know the Brewers, Bucks, or Packers, but many of them recognize the Milwaukee Mile. It puts Milwaukee on a Global stage more than any other asset we have. It's too bad our local media refuses to embrace this concept and help promote events there...if they did, there would never be any discussion of having it go away. Support the Mile!

The Mile is a place of historic significance. It needs to be saved and promoted by someone who knows how to bring back at least some of it's previous glory.

I live behind the track. I bought my house because of the track. If they are going to start tearing down historic places then they need to start in Madison

Hire someone that knows how to promote and this track will be successful again. Don't take our track away.

I have many memories here and absolutely love the sounds coming out of Milwaukee during summer with the races going on. Please don't think about the money, it can do nothing but bring it in if you had the right staff behind it. I agree with my buddy Ace. I love the mile the sounds the atmosphere and the Indy car races last year were phenomenal

Save the mile! The last thing Wisconsin needs is to kill off another race track.

The Mile is legendary. So many of the greats have raced here. This is where "the bug" bit me. Sneaking between gaps in the fence to take pictures of the stock cars in 1970.

I grew up in West Allis to the sound of racing. My heros were on the Mile. The Iconic Mile Moment is Sunday morning when the neighborhood church bells ring followed by that other beautiful sound...racing engine starts!
Sometimes we have a lack of imagination in our town. We could have a vintage race car museum at the Mile that would be a year around attraction. Unlike many racing museums, it would have "pride of place" because it belongs there. Imagine families coming to our town to see two authentic museums for race cars and motorcycles. We could have a special day each year where we exercise vehicles from both on Amercia's oldest running track. To see and hear that would be nothing less than living history.
I'll volunteer some time and effort toward this. Who else is in?

We feel that the Milwaukee Mile is an important piece of motor racing history and every attempt should be made to keep it as an active racing facility. Thanks in advance.

Went to the mile for the first time last year. Had great time. This track can't be lost, it's an important part of history.

Historical Venues in all Sports are endangered by the modern facilities with all the amenities. Love going to "The Mile" for the pure racing. History needs and deserves to be saved.

The oldest race track in America, and oldest operating racetrack in the world is worth preserving. It is a magnificent track.
